Friday night’s showing of the documentary “A Crushing Love” was held at the Breath of Fire Latina Theater on 3rd & Broadway streets. Director Sylvia Morales documents how some Mexican-American women activists including Dolores Huerta, Alicia Escalante, Cherrie Moraga, and Betita Martínez managed to balance motherhood with political activism.
